COVID-19 ALERT

Being a web-based shop only, South Pacific Berets remains "open" during the global pandemic but we are not able to stick to our usual target delivery times. As from 28 April, all orders placed will be fulfilled and posted within 24 hours. From there, it can take anything from the typical 10 business days to an unknown number of days or weeks for delivery. Before placing your order, check with your postal service regarding local circumstances. 

Shipping

South Pacific Berets ships berets across the globe at a fixed flat postage rate, automatically added when going through the payment process (and you will see the cost before making your final payment). All prices listed are in US$ and GST (for New Zealand customers) is included.

All berets are sent via NZAir International (New Zealand Post). Unfortunately NZ Post charges a high price for added tracking, making the berets prohibitively expensive, so therefore there is no tracking number provided. Fortunately, our record is extremely good where missing parcels are concerned. Most destinations have a typical delivery time of 4 - 12 working days, but there are exceptions:

  • Italy, Nigeria and South Africa are three countries where parcels have gone missing and, unfortunately, on a regular basis. The 95% of parcels that arrive, can take up to 2.5 months delivery time. Although we do everything possible to track a missing parcel down, Italy, Nigeria and South Africa are the only countries we don't take responsibility for when a parcel seems to have gone missing.
  • Latin American countries, former Soviet Union countries, customers in Turkey, Croatia and Serbia often experience delays, but parcels are always delivered in the end. 
All shipments are insured and in the unlikely case a parcel goes missing a claim for compensation must be made within 3 months of the date of shipping.
If in a rush, or wanting absolute certainty about a timely delivery, we can arrange a tracked shipment via Courier Post (most destinations target delivery time of 5 working days). In that case, don't order via the web site, but send us your order via email; we'll calculate costs and send you a Paypal invoice in return.



Returns
If there is any material  or manufacturing fault with your beret, we'll instantly replace or refund your money and the return postage cost is on us.
Returns for other reasons (size, colour, etc.) can not be accepted. Most berets come in a sealed wrapper and, similar to swim- or underwear, we would like our customers to know that their purchase is indeed brand new and has not been tried on previously. If you have any questions about any beret to your liking or about sizing, please ask beforehand - always happy to answer questions and help!
